Goodyear have announced that their new tyre the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 will be introduced throughout the year of 2019- slowly being fed into the tyre market from February 2019. This tyre will replace its ever so successful predecessor, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tyre and will become Goodyear's ultimate all-rounder tyre for 2019. This tyre has recently been ranked as the award winner in terms of wet braking at the 2019 Auto Bild AllRad SUV tyre test.
These premium tyres have been manufactured to ensure the perfect blend of outstanding overall performance benefits (no matter the weather conditions) and maximum levels of comfort and safety.

Liked : As good, if not better than Dunlop SPMaxx RT2 XL fitted before. And much better than the Michelins before that. I will be looking remain with XL tyres in the future as they seem more stable in cornering. When it comes to replacing these tyres I shall do what I always do - get the best performance/price package from the many reviews available.

Disliked : Not much to say here. An unremarkable tread pattern perhaps.
