Manufacturer: Dunlop
Tyre: Dunlop Sport Maxx TTMFS

The Dunlop Sport Maxx TTMFS tyres are ultra-high performance summer tyres from Dunlop Tyres suitable for drivers of high end performance saloons who demand comprehensive road feedback so that they can have an exhilarating ride. Driving can ‘get you’ from point A to point B or driving can ‘blast you’ from point A to point B. Driving can be just a ‘function’ or it can become a ‘passion’. If you strive for the latter in both scenarios, the Dunlop Sport Maxx TTMFS tyres are for you. Incorporated with a range of innovative tyre technologies, the Dunlop Sport Maxx TTMFS tyres are the flagship product for Dunlop Tyres.

Modern asymmetric tread pattern: The motorsport inspired modern asymmetric tread pattern of the Dunlop Sport Maxx TTMFS tyres enhances wet and dry grip, improving safety on all surfaces. The aquaplaning risk is reduced, minimising risk of skidding on wet surface. The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres (another product from Dunlop with a similar name) however are different because they sport a rotational tread pattern.
Multi-radius tread technology: This technology focuses on flattening the tread profile so that contact patch of the rubber on the surface is greatly enhanced. This allows for greater stability and control on the car at all times. The enlarged contact patch improves cornering stability significantly keeping you safe when you are negotiating curves at high speeds.
Touch technology: The Touch Technology of the Dunlop Sport Maxx TTMFS tyres makes sure that even the slightest and the most subtle road feedback is conveyed to you, enabling you to respond quickly and decisively. This takes your overall ride experience several notches higher.
MFS technology: This is the Maximum Flange Shield, which is manifested as an extra layer of rubber around the tyre circumference, offering additional buffering protection to the wheels. This in fact protects the wheels from accidental kerbing damage that can be quite expensive.

The most distinctive feature of the Dunlop Sport Maxx TTMFS tyres is the use of DuPont’s Kevlar polymer in the construction of the sidewall. This offers additional reinforcement to the sidewall, which improves the quality of road feedback and makes the steering responsiveness extremely precise. Kevlar, incidentally is an extremely strong aromatic polyamide that exhibits high resistance to distortion even under severe temperature conditions. It is used in the manufacture of bullet proof jackets and has other applications aviation/space technology.
