May 2012: Lassa Tyres Now In Milan

Lassa Tyres, the biggest tyre manufacturer from Turkey and the 7th on the European market has just opened a new store in Milan. This is somewhat of an expected move from the company as Lassa holds a considerable share on the Italian market in terms of tyre sales.

The new store was opened on the 26th of May with a special opening coffee event at 10 A.M. at Via Boncompagni 55/1 and a 15% discount for those who have participated at the opening event.

From the marketing point of view the opening of the new store in Milan was a great tactical move, as this offered the opportunity to increase the market segment. The spring period is the most recommended to increase brand awareness as this is the period in which summer tyres are purchased.

The Lassa shop will focus not only on providing consumers with a large variety of high quality tyres produced by the Turkish manufacturer, but it will also offer specialised assistance. The Lassa Tyres are the direct result of an extended period of research undertaken by Brisa, a venture company created by Sabanci Group and Bridgestone Corporation.

Also, with the opening of the Milan store, the company will also undergo two additional customer focused marketing initiatives.

The first initiative is a courtesy bike program. The program offers those that change their car tyres the possibility of using a bike to ride to and from work and come to pick up their car without the hassle of having no personal means of transport.

The second is the Tyre SOS service which addresses those that encounter tyre problems on the road. The service is quite simple. The driver needs to contact Lassa Milan via text message and they will receive the contact details of the closest Lassa dealer.
