Cooper Tyres has expanded its Discoverer range of 4x4 tyres with the addition of the new A/T3 tyre to it. Cooper’s Discoverer tyre range is considered one of the best for 4W drive vehicles, both on road and off roaders.

The range is extremely popular amongst 4x4 tyres vehicle manufacturers, notably the Land Rover group of vehicles.

Discoverer A/T3 Tyres Tread Pattern

The tyres are equipped with a highly aggressive 5-Rib tread pattern that works very well for on road and off road driving applications. Particularly, in off road driving, the tread pattern has to be effective enough to deflect stones, mud, dirt or even snow, so that they don’t clog the tyres and cause the wheels to spin.

The Discoverer A/T3 tyre uses a unique silica based compound, which is a combination of silica and carbon black. This compound offers excellent wet traction properties and highway handling, while simultaneously enhancing the resistance to cuts in rocky and gravel terrain.

As compared to exclusive carbon black compounds, the combination compound reduces rolling resistance and enhances fuel efficiency by that much.
