Apr 2012: Maxxis Tyres all Set to Make an Impact at Reifen 2012

The Taiwan based tyre manufacturer Maxxis International is all set to make an impact with their participation at Reifen 2012.

Maxxis will be exhibiting at Hall 3 on stand 123 at Reifen.

Reifen 2012 is scheduled to be held in Germany from 5th to 8th June 2012.

Technology and Product Range to be on Display

Sources revealed that the company intends to showcase the latest technologies of its R&D efforts at the event along with their latest range of products. Through a thorough and planned display, the company wants to drive home the breadth of its product range and the variety of applications served by the company through its products.

Warren Lin, Sales Managing Director Maxxis will be present at the event. This is significant and indicates that the company expects to make the most of participation at Reifen.

So What Products will be on Display?

Sources confirmed that Maxxis will use the Reifen platform to promote awareness about its latest range of tyres across various categories. These following products will be on display at the Maxxis stand at Reifen.

Ultra High Performance (UHP) tyre Pro R1

The Pro R1 is designed to deliver enhanced performance on wet and dry surface and offer better fuel economy and longer life. The tyre uses nano dispersed silica in combination with the specially developed ‘Ultra R’ rubber to form a superior reinforced tread compound that enhances grip on wet as well as dry surfaces.

The tread has 4 central grooves that enable rapid water dispersion giving enhanced wet grip and control. The centre section is raised, reducing the pattern vibration and frequency resulting in reduced noise levels. Finally the tread pattern lowers the rolling resistance, leading to improved fuel economy.

ZR01

The ZR01 has been designed specifically by Maxxis for tarmac rallies.

RC1

The RC1 was created specifically to cater to the requirements of dry track racing vehicles. The tread compound for this tyre has been specially formulated to enhance the dry grip and remain durable. The tyre tread also gets the benefit of dual wide circumferential grooves, so that it can cope well if weather conditions turned wet suddenly.

This is the company’s recently launched winter tyres.

AT980

With the AT980 on display, Maxxis will be reinforcing its off-road capabilities. This tyre designed for 4x4 vehicles, delivers enhanced traction and braking response across a variety of terrains. The AT980 is robustly constructed with improved puncture resistance and increased resistance to bruise and damage by external factors. These are important factors for off-roaders, which constantly traverse rough terrains. It has square shoulders so that the load bearing capacity is improved and enables better grip and handling, whatever the external weather conditions.
