Mar 2012: Hankook and Bandvulc Confirm Participation in April CV Show

Hankook Tyres and Bandvulc Group have confirmed that they will participate in the forthcoming Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show. The CV Show is scheduled to be held from April 24 – 26 th , 2012 at NEC, Birmingham.

The Show provides a platform for the buyers and sellers to interact in all areas of commercial vehicle requirements including tyre, OE, replacement parts and logistics systems.

AH22+ Tyre to be the Focus of Hankook’s Exhibition

Hankook has recently introduced into the market a new, improved version of its popular AH22 truck tyre range. Called the AH22+, this product is likely to take centre stage at the Hankook stand during the exhibition.

AH22+ is a premium tyre that has been developed specifically to meet the demands of delivery traffic in the long haul regional sector. It is suitable for fitment on bus and tyre axles.

According to Hankook, when it comes to designing tyres for delivery use, certain specific parameters like long mileages and high resistance to external impact are important to ensure long term cost savings and economic efficiency.

The AH22+ is equipped with new compound technology, innovative internal structure and optimized tread design, which ensures that all these parameters are met.

The AH22+ carcass has a flatter and reinforced tread design. As a result, the ground pressure is more evenly distributed.

This combined with the reinforced bead structure of the tread design guarantees tyre durability and longer tyre life even while being operated consistently under the maximum load capacity.

Other tyres from the Hankook Range at the CV Show

Hankook officials confirmed that apart from the AH22+, the company will also display the Hankook e-cubeAL10, TL10 and RA 18 tyres. In particular, the e-cube AL10 tyre is specific to the steer axle.

The company spokespersons added that in a bid to maximize the fuel efficiency, this tyre is now available in a super single size of 385/55 R22.5.
