Many motorists would like to be greener these days and Pirelli Tyres has responded to this wish in the development of its new Cinturato P1 tyre. It appears that Pirelli Tyres has targeted the Cinturato P1 at both the new equipment and the replacement tyres markets and indeed the new tyre has already been chosen by BMW for its 1 Series model; an accolade in itself for Pirelli Tyres, and is already creating interest in the aftermarket for replacement tyres where Pirelli Tyres believe it will find considerable success. In addition, the tyre is being made in a run-flat version that has been designed to provide 80km mileage at 80km/h when deflated.
