The PRO R

An interesting aspect that the new PRO R1 brings is the new technology that Maxxis has begun to implement on its new releases, the nano-dispersement technology. This technology allows the manufacturer to combine silica based fine particles with carbon particles which produces an improved rubber material known as “Ultra R”.

This type of rubber offers improved traction possibilities as it has better adherence with the road’s surface and decreased fuel consumption.

Besides the material used, the new pattern design of the PRO R1 also improves adherence of the tyres on the asphalt on wet conditions. It is a unique design which combines a multi-pitch block on the sides with a raised middle section which follows a spiral shape. Besides the improved traction in unfavourable weather conditions, the unique pattern design also offers improved control and decreased vibration and noise.

The MAZ1

The MAZ1 is probably the best known product from Maxxis. It is available for purchase in a wide variety of sizes up to 285/30ZR20. What attracts the most is the design of the tyre that offers improved cornering manoeuvring and stability.

The design is quite massive and gives the tyre improved traction and stability. The additional high rim protection improves driving capabilities through wet conditions. The MAZ4S

The MAZ4S is the 4 season tyre from Maxxis. The design of the tyre is what makes it unique and offers consumers improved traction, manoeuvring and decreased fuel consumption.

The V-shaped crush pattern and the silica rich compound is what ensures the products quality. The centre design which has rib like elements improves the casing and gives the body more resistance and stability. The circumferential design elements improves traction in wet conditions as it repeals most of the water on the tyres and decreases spinning required in snow conditions. The New RC1 line

In the latest news Maxxis has entered the road racing tyre niche with the new RC1. The tyre has been designed for dry weather road racing, having been designed with improved durability and traction in dry driving environments.

One of the models of the line, the MAZ1 Drift, which is a competition version of the commercial popular MAZ1, had already made an impact with numerous victories in competitions in the UK, US and Europe and it is the representative tyre for Tram Japspeedm, the 2011 winners of the Maxxis British Drift Championship.
