15/05/2012: The New Wheels For Yeti
The technicians from Delta4x4 have recently equipped a Yeti with a new pair of wheels. We are not talking about the well known horror stories Yeti, but about something almost as big, a Skoda Yeti.
The motive for this technological make-over is a female customer request who desired to upgrade her car and equip it with the largest wheels which the car could master. The reason for this request was quite amusing. Apparently she desired this boost up so that she could surpass her husband who drove an Audi Q7 equipped with 20’’ tyres.
The Skoda Yeti was originally equipped with a 215/60 R16 tyres, which were replaced with 20’’ wheels.
To ensure technological capabilities, the technicians also made a couple of modifications to the design of the car as well as some of the industrial specifications. The suspension distance was increased by 20mm, a side and front bar were added to improve the overall design and give somewhat of a off-road appearance and additional 21 cm clearance which increased the height of the tuned Skoda Yeti by 5 cm.
The price for this make-over was not cheap as it comprised the lift kit of €572, the fender flares of €700, the Lander wheel set of with 245/30 R22 Yokohama tyres of €3700 and the front bar 5500 which total to €5522. Quite a steep price, but the results are truly unique and powerful. Now we only wonder if the customer was able to surpass her husband.
