If you’re interested in sporting and classic cars. then an exciting new competition from Avon tyres might be just the thing for you. The Avon Tyres Great British Sportscar Competition gives you the chance to win an outstanding example of a great British sportscar that will certainly enhance motoring satisfaction and enjoyment for the lucky winner. In addition to the sportscar, Avon is also offering 10 TomTom Sat Navs as runners-up prizes.

The first prize in the The Avon Tyres Great British Sportscar Competition is a 3.6 Litre TVR Tamora; a modern classic in the making with all the power and charisma that typifies the breed. To qualify for entry you must have purchased a set of four Avon Tyres and please be aware that both terms and conditions and time limits apply to this. If you want to take part therefore, you are therefore advised to get an entry form from your Avon stockist in order to qualify.

In keeping with the classic spirit of the competition, Avon Tyres are offering a pre-owned 2002 TVR Tamora with less than 30,000 miles on the clock. It will have tax and MOT until August 2011 but if you win it you must arrange your own insurance. Avon Tyres have listed a range of tyres, including the Avon ZZ3, which must be purchased as a condition of entry. The ten runners up will receive a TomTom XL IQ Sat Nav system as a consolation prize from Avon Tyres.

However, if you do want to enter the Avon Tyres Great British Sportscar Competition you will need to get a move on, because the competition officially ends on 24 July 2010 and the final closing date for entries is August 2nd 2010. Avon is arranging for the winner to collect the car at Silverstone Race Circuit on August 15th. The winner, who will also receive two complimentary passes to the British GT event on that day plus a £100 contribution towards travel and expenses, is required to be photographed at a ceremony for publicity by Avon Tyres.
