Avon set to launch a new range of motorcyle tyres

Avon Tyres has announced its attendance at the 2009 Motorcycle Trade Expo. The company says it will make a large presence at Britain’s biggest motorcycle trade show, to be held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on January 18 to 20, in order to demonstrate the importance it places in communicating the potential of the newly unveiled VP2 range to existing dealers.

The three-strong range of high performance sports tyres – Sport, Supersport and Xtreme – replaces the Viper series that was launched in 2005. Along with many new technical features and construction methods employed in VP2, the new tyre includes Avon’s first use of multi-compound technology.
